Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DevLens (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

DevLens is an autonomous PR review platform that analyzes pull request diffs and provides automated feedback including bug detection, security scanning, and test generation suggestions. The Service is available as a hosted platform or as a self-hosted deployment.

3. Accounts & Access

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

Each organization account may have multiple members with different roles (Owner, Admin, Member, Viewer). The Owner is responsible for managing access and ensuring compliance with these Terms.

4. Your Code & Data

You retain full ownership of your code. DevLens does not claim any intellectual property rights over your source code, diffs, or repository data.

You grant DevLens a limited, non-exclusive license to process your code data solely for the purpose of providing the Service (i.e., performing code reviews). This license terminates when you disconnect your repository or delete your account.

We do not use your code to train AI models. Code data processed through the Service is handled transiently and is not stored permanently unless you explicitly opt into review history.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to process code you do not have rights to
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the AI models
• Circumvent rate limits or usage quotas
• Share API keys or allow unauthorized access to your account
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission

6. Pricing & Billing

DevLens offers free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. Usage metering and billing are managed through our billing platform.

7. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice. For self-hosted deployments, availability is your responsibility.

8. Limitation of Liability

DevLens provides AI-generated code review feedback as suggestions only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any review comment, security finding, or test suggestion. You are responsible for reviewing and validating all feedback before acting on it. DevLens is not a substitute for human code review.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, we will delete your data within 30 days unless legally required to retain it.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
